Instructional Design
When kicking off a new project, I first put together a design document outlining the project. Together we decide on the content, learning objectives, training type and seat time, etc.
Once the content in the design document has been approved, I move on to create the project storyboard. This document gives the client a detailed plan for development of the course. Sample images, overall design considerations, and individual interactions throughout the module are fleshed out.
The training assessment is also fleshed out in this phase and sent to the client for approval. Consistant and open communication is essential to developing quality training for clients.
