Articulate Storyline Module
Midas Touch customer service group is a small organization that contracts their telephone support services out to larger companies. The company has not been able to expand because the current staff takes frequent sick days. These incidents are not isolated to one or two employees. There are large clusters of employees affected by each illness that comes into the workplace, and this is lowering overall productivity and client satisfaction for the businesses that contract Midas Touch for their customer service needs. Many employees are not aware of effective handwashing techniques and procedures for a shared working space. In order to ensure that current employees are trained on these procedures and new employees are educated when they begin work with a company a course will be developed.
This course uses current CDC resources and guidelines to ensure hygiene compliance at the onset of employment and increase handwashing hygiene compliance of current employees within the company to decrease the occurrences of clustered sick days due to transmission of illness within the office population. This will allow the company to dedicate resources to onboarding new staff and looking into a new location for their planned expansion.
Articulate Storyline is used for this course so that employees can complete the training at their own pace, and at a time and place of their choosing. This allows the company to train all current employees as soon as possible, without the need to pull the current shift away from the phones. New employees will also be able to complete the training before their first day on the job. This will ensure that all employees on site are aware and have agreed to the current procedures and expectations. Additional external resources that employees can explore on their own will allow those with individual interests to continue their learning. Training will be SCORM compliant to be readily integrated into the company LMS.
